The artwork "Discharge" depicts a human being from the neck up, with a brain visible through a wire mesh head. Performed alongside a personal text by the artist, it draws a parallel between physical and mental health, illustrating the lack of access to psychological services and its impact. Throughout the performance, specific parts of the brain linked to significant psychological events in the artist's life light up and then go dark. The artist describes the performance as painful, both in writing the text and in the manual construction of the metal structure.

I am a digital animation artist whose practice is rooted in the exploration of mental health.

I work in collaboration with people experiencing diverse psychological realities, in order to transform their inner narratives into visual languages. My approach unites art and humanity, seeking to create images that listen as much as they reveal.
