The inexhaustible enhancer

Project type

Magazine paper collage and acrylic paint on wood

Date

October 30, 2020

Dimensions

20 x 24 in

Location

Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada

The work explores the nature-city contrast, inspired by beaches overcrowded by skyscrapers from Cape Town to Sydney. It depicts a white man climbing a pile of rubbish mixed with houses, while diagonally opposite him, another man lights his cigarette in a forest fire, symbolizing a destructive cycle of consumption.

I am a digital animation artist whose practice is rooted in the exploration of mental health.

I work in collaboration with people experiencing diverse psychological realities, in order to transform their inner narratives into visual languages. My approach unites art and humanity, seeking to create images that listen as much as they reveal.
